Clare McFadden

Clare has trained to Masters level in both theoretical and clinical psychoanalytic psychotherapy, and has further specialist trainings in couples therapy and psychosexual studies. She is an experienced supervisor.

Clare is a fully accredited counsellor and psychotherapist through the professional bodies BACP, UKCP, and ICP.

Clare has 20 years of experience delivering individual and couples counselling to people in Belfast and further afield. She is able to offer online sessions if this is more suitable, depending on individual circumstances.

Clare has lived in Northern Ireland for over 20 years. However, she has also worked in England and other parts of Europe, Latin America and East Africa. This has given her the opportunity to spend extended periods of time with communities of people from many different cultural and religious backgrounds.

Clare has also worked with people of varying sexual orientations, genders and ages, especially through 12 years of counselling students aged 18 – 30.
